Fourteen years since it last hosted MIFLC, the UT Department of Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures looks forward to hosting the region’s premier foreign language conference once again in Knoxville, Tennessee on October 4 - 6, 2018. Participants will see the exciting transformations that are taking place in Tennessee’s flagship university and in the surrounding area. Knoxville is easily accessible by many MIFLC members and October is a perfect time to visit. Participants will enjoy the fall colors, the university’s welcoming culture, the vibrant downtown atmosphere, and the lively intellectual exchanges we all associate with MIFLC.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.
Best wishes on behalf of the organizing committee,
President, MIFLC 2018
